A liturgical building that served for thousands of St. Petersburg believers was seized and sealed
St. PetersburgOn December 14, 2017, about 40 employees of various departments, including the Ministry of Emergency Situations, seized and later sealed a huge worship building near the Pionerskaya metro station in St. Petersburg. Details are being clarified.
This building with the sign "Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses" was inaugurated in September 1999 at 21 Kolomyazhsky Prospekt. One of the specialized magazines published a brief architectural and design review of this building, as well as an interview with its architect Helenios Osmo Ilmari.
