Biography
On June 26, 2019, a wave of religious persecution reached Kaluga. Several apartments were searched, and two peaceful believers ended up in a pre-trial detention center. What do we know about one of them, Dmitry Kuzin?
Dmitry was born in 1965 in Kaluga. His father worked as the director of the Museum of Cosmonautics, his mother was in charge of the school library. Later, another son appeared in the family. Dmitry grew up as a versatile child: he went to a music school, played the accordion, went in for skiing and sports dancing, played football and hockey.
After school, he studied at the Kaluga branch of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University with a degree in turbine engineering. After graduating from the university, Dmitry worked for many years in his specialty at various enterprises, but recently, together with his wife, he has been cleaning the premises of the Kaluga Museum of Cosmonautics.
Dmitry learned biblical truths from his first wife, who was the first to become interested in the Holy Scriptures. According to him, this is what saved their marriage. Dmitry found answers to his questions. Unfortunately, in 2000, Dmitry was widowed. Years later, he met Svetlana, whom he married in 2013. She is a primary school teacher by education, worked as a tutor for some time.
Svetlana worries about her husband's health, in addition, she has to work for Dmitry to clean the territory. The couple appreciates the support of friends who came to the rescue during this difficult time. Dmitry's parents, although they do not share his religious beliefs, are very worried about their son.
